Driver Crashes into Commack Liquor Store
The car knocked down a metal barrier and left a giant hole in store's front wall.
A woman crashed her vehicle into Long Island Wine and Spirit, at the Northgate Shopping Center in Commack, Monday afternoon.
"I heard a loud bang and then the car came through the wall," said an employee who declined to give her name. "I ran away over to the other corner as fast as I could."
The driver drove the sports utility vehicle straight through the front of the store, breaking the front window and leaving a hole in the brick wall.
Police said that there were no injuries in the crash and that the accident was non-criminal.
