Families Gather at The Bristal at East Northport to Celebrate Birthdays
89 year old John Spadanuta and his 94 year old brother Lou celebrated their birthdays at The Bristal at East Northport with socially distant celebrations. Each were visited by their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren on The Bristal's outdoor patio, two family members visiting at a time throughout the day until all well-wishes were exchanged. They were then serenaded with "Happy Birthday" by the entire family through the patio window, as COVID-19 protocols were adhered to.
John lived in Commack before moving to The Bristal in April of 2019. Lou moved to The Bristal from Oceanside in 2012. Both served in the U.S. Army. John was stationed in Japan from 1953-56. Lou was stationed in the Philippines during World War Two.
