This week's Hometown Hero is a local resident who is an advocate for the animals in the Town of Smithtown.

  • I’m a resident of Valmont Village in Commack that’s a hamlet in Smithtown. He is a member of the Smithtown Township as am I.

  • I have read about and watch Mr. Urbancik on Town Of Smithtown Public TV. John Urbancik advocated for Town Of Smithtown Animal Shelter deplorable conditions to be cleaned up. John Urbancik now is asking the Town Of Smithtown to install sprinkler system to protect animals in a fire

  • John Urbancik is out there in the sun rain and snow ️with his truck with the Animal Advocacy written on his truck and informing all of Smithtown of it’s valid factual problems. Making Smithtown correct the injustices to the animals.
