Man & Woman Use Stolen Credit Cards At Suffolk Stores: Police

COMMACK, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the man and woman who police said used stolen credit cards at a Melville store and two Commack stores in September.

Credit cards were stolen from a purse in a shopping cart inside Trader Joe's, at 5900 Jericho Turnpike, Commack, at 1:15 p.m. Sept. 17, police said. Later that day, a man and woman used the stolen credit cards at Home Depot, at 65 Crooked Hill Road, Commack, as well as at two separate Dick’s Sporting Goods, located at 6070 Jericho Turnpike, Commack and 870 Walt Whitman Road, Melville, police said. The man and woman are wanted for grand larceny.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
