Massapequa Prevails Against Commack at Little League Baseball Tournament

Two Massapequa teams recently took first place at the District 34 Little League Baseball Tournament held last week.

The 10U team led by manager Phil Sonzone, coached by George Corey, Mike Mehm and Chris Horn beat out Commack South with a score of 9 to 0.

The 8 U team managed by Andy Cacciatore, coached by Andy Diorio and Jeff Erker then beat out Commack North in the bottom of the 7th inning with a score of 2 to 1.
