Melissa Cohn Named Top Cruises Inc. Travel Agent Nationwide

For the fourth year in a row, Cruises Inc. Independent Vacation Specialist Melissa Cohn was recognized as the highest performing Cruises Inc. Travel Agent nationwide during the Cruises Inc. National Conference, as well as the first-ever Cruises Inc. Vision Award honoree.

“These recognitions are particularly meaningful this year, as they would not have been possible without the support of my clients,” said Cohn. “As a small business owner, I am especially grateful for everyone’s support as we navigate these unprecedented times together.”

As part of inclusion on the Cruises Inc. Top 10 list of agents nationwide, Cohn was named the Top Selling Agent overall, with more than 20 percent sales growth in 2020. She also was the top seller of land vacations overall, which includes, resorts, tours and more. The Vision Award recognized a travel agent who responded to the challenges of 2020 by successfully pivoting and altering the way they market their business in a creative and unique way. Additionally, she was awarded the Cruises Inc. Marketing Award for Best Social Media Strategy. Earlier this year, Cohn was also recognized with the agency’s OPAL Award for her outstanding performance and leadership in the community and within Cruises Inc.

Locally, Cohn has also been honored with the nomination for Bethpage Best of Long Island 2021 Contest in the Travel Agent/Agency Category. This has been the third year in a row for her nomination.
