New Whole Foods In Commack Open For Business
The latest Long Island store for the popular grocery chain officially opened its doors Wednesday morning.

COMMACK, NY - The new Whole Foods in Commack has officially opened.
The latest store for the grocery chain opened on 120 Veterans Memorial Highway. Doors were officially open at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
The opening day celebration included complimentary coffee and breakfast pastries starting at 8 a.m.

People were seen lining up in front of the 45,000 square-foot store prior to the opening. The patiently waiting customers were entertained by the Commack High School jazz ensemble.

The first 200 customers also received a free reusable canvas shopping bag.

However the grand opening festivities don't stop there. To celebrate the grand opening, the store will donate 5 percent of net sales on Wednesday, April 10 to the Association for Mental Health and Awareness in support of its Chemical Free Garden, which provides fruit, vegetables and herbs to local food pantry Charlotte's Table.
Then on Thursday, April 18, the store will donate 5 percent of the net sales to the Family Service League, which provides social services to more than 50,000 individuals in need throughout Suffolk County.

This marks the fourth Whole Foods store on Long Island with locations in Lake Grove, Manhasset and Jericho.
Following the grand opening, the store will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
