The grandfather of four passed away on April 12.
Arthur H. Stowby, of Commack, passed away April 12, 2017. He was 92.
Stowby was a proud United States WWII Army Veteran as well as a longtime member VFW.
He was predeceased in life by his wife, Nancy H.

He is survived by his son Keith and daughter-in-law Julia.
In addition, Stowby is survived by his grandchildren Brian, Shawn, Melanie and Francesco.

A visitation was held on Monday and Tuesday and a funeral service was held on Tuesday at the Fives Smithtown Funeral Home on 31 Landing Avenue in Smithtown.
Burial took place at the Calverton National Cemetery.
