Gertrude M. Buro, of Commack, sadly passed away March 19, 2017, at the age of 98. Beloved wife of the late James. Loving mother of Richard, Linda (Stephen), James and David. Cherished grandmother of 2 and great grandmother of 2.

Visitation took place on Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Fives Smithtown Funeral Home on 31 Landing Avenue in Smithtown.

A funeral service was held at the funeral home starting at 10:45 a.m. with religious services taking place starting at 11:45 a.m. at the St. Matthew R.C. Church on 35 North Service Road in Dix Hills.
