QuickChek Aims To Bring New One-Stop Shopping Concept To Commack

COMMACK, NY — A one-stop shopping concept aiming to offer fresh convenience in fast-casual food service, fresh brewed coffee, and fuel is coming to Commack, according to a press release. QuickChek is opening a 6,805-square-foot store at 6233 Jericho Turnpike on Tuesday, Oct. 29.
Grand opening promotions include free QuickChek hot or iced coffee offered to all shoppers from Oct. 29 through Nov. 10. QuickChek’s coffee was voted “best in America” in a national consumer survey, according to Convenience Store News.
The new Commack store offers an innovative “Fresh to Go” design that meets the needs of today’s fast-casual shopper with more than 50 percent of the store dedicated to fresh food and beverages.

"We serve busy people on the go with products and services that are made for immediate consumption," said QuickChek CEO Dean Durling. "Today’s consumer, especially young professionals, families and health-conscious people, want fresh. So we have dedicated more than half of the store to food service and fresh beverages, including our guaranteed fresh brewed hot and iced coffees. We meet your need for what you need now, whether its food, the best cup of coffee in America, or fuel."
More features of the store include a stand-alone soup station offering a daily rotation of freshly-prepared QuickChek soups, 6 or 12-inch sub sandwiches served on fresh bakery sub rolls, a wide selection of healthy baked snacks, fresh cut fruit and seasonal fruit salads, baked goods, and indoor seating counters with phone and laptop charging stations, as well as free WiFi.

The store will be open 24 hours a day to meet the daily schedules of all customers.
Until Nov. 10, 6-inch subs are $3 and foot-long subs are $6. Both the sub and coffee menus will have seasonal options.
The store will also include no-fee ATMs, indoor seating for 11 people, eight gas pumps/16 fueling positions and 61 parking spaces.
The new store will create 45 jobs, including eight management positions.
