Wilma had been hit by a car. She was living in a managed feral cat colony behind Taco Bell in Commack. She sustained neurological damage from the accident and we were unable to release her. Although she was initially distrustful of all humans, she blossomed into an amazingly affectionate sweet girl. With the cat Beast gone, she has taken on his role of cat room mayor. She greets all visitors with friendly leg rubs and purrs.
