Town of Huntington Honors 61 Workers for Longtime Service
These workers have been employed by the Town for over 30 years.

Sixty-one workers who have been employed by the Town of Huntington for 30 or more years were recently recognized for their longtime service and dedication at a luncheon on Tuesday, June 9.
The workers that were recognized were from nearly every Town department.
The Highway Department had 13 employees recognized, which was the most out of any department.

Leading the way for the Highway Department was Edward Schiavone, the Town’s longest-serving employee. He has worked for the Town for 46 years.
Environmental Waste Management and General Services each had 10 employees recognized.

Of the 61 employees recognized, 21 workers have been with the Town for 32 or more years.
Two elected officials, town clerk Jo-Ann Raia and tax receiver Ester Bivona, will also celebrate their 33rd anniversary this year.
The employees were each thanked for their dedication to the Town. They received a proclamation from that was signed by the Town Board members.
