Woman Tries Using Stolen Credit Cards: SCPD

The cards had been stolen earlier that day from a car in the parking lot of a Suffolk high school, police say.

COMMACK, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the woman who used stolen credit cards in Commack in September.

A woman tried to use stolen credit and debit cards on Sept. 11 at the Bethpage Federal Credit Union on 94 Harned Road, Commack, police said.

The cards had been reported stolen earlier that day from a car parked at Walt Whitman High School in Huntington Station, police said. She is wanted on charges of grand larceny.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, texting "SCPD" and your message to "CRIMES" (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
