100 Best Places in New York to Raise a Family

Just in time for Father’s Day, Niche.com took a look at the best places to raise a family in states across the country.

According to its rankings for New York, Long Island offers more than a few possibilities, with Flower Hill, Plandome, Munsey Park and Roslyn Estates in Nassau County among the top 10.

In the national rankings, Devon, Pa., earned top honors. Three New York towns made the national list–Scarsdale (No. 29) and Rye (No. 66) in Westchester County and Flower Hill (No. 3) in Nassau.

The lists were created using information about public schools, crime rates, cost of living and family friendly amenities. Data was pulled from the U.S. Census, FBI, BLS, CDC, and other sources, according to Niche.
