17-Year-Old Stabbed Outside Deer Park Popeye's
The teen was stabbed by a 19-year-old West Babylon man during an altercation outside the restaurant Monday night, police said.
DEER PARK, NY — A West Babylon man was arrested for stabbing a 17-year-old boy outside a Deer Park restaurant Monday night, according to Suffolk police.
After an alteration, 19-year-old Erick Hernandez-Rodriguez stabbed the teen in the parking lot of Popeyes on Deer Park Avenue at 8:40 p.m., police said.
The 17-year-old Deer Park boy was transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Hernandez-Rodriguez turned himself in at the First Precinct at 9:40 p.m., police said. He was charged with second-degree assault, police said.
He was held overnight at the First Precinct and is scheduled for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip on Tuesday.
