DEER PARK, NY - Two Deer Park High School seniors were among the winners of this year's Suffolk Zone Awards. Jillian Cornelia and Jordan Galaor were recognized at the annual Suffolk Zone Awards dinner, held at Villa Lombardi's in Holbrook on Dec. 3. Deer Park Athletic Director Dominick Fontana and physical education teachers Brian Tower and Mike Gennaro were also in attendance.Each year, the Suffolk Zone Chapter of the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance awards one male and one female student in each Suffolk high school, selected for excellent achievement in physical education, outstanding character and leadership in schoolwide activities.Congratulations to Jillian Cornelia and Jordan Galaor!
