3 Charged In Massive North Babylon Drug Bust: Police

Officers found crack, cocaine, fentanyl and heroin, as well as two illegal handguns and more than $36,000 in cash, police said.

NORTH BABYLON, NY β€” Three people face drug and weapon charges after a massive drug bust at a North Babylon home Wednesday night, according to Suffolk police.

Detectives executed a search warrant at the Higgins Street home at 6 a.m., police said. Officers seized a "sizable quantity" of crack, cocaine, fentanyl and heroin, as well as two illegal 9mm handguns and over $36,000 in cash, police said.

Three people were arrested and a 4-year-old girl was released into the custody of a family member, police said.

Levar Jackson, 41, was charged with three counts of first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of a child, police said. He also had an active parole warrant.

Rhamel Stanford, 34, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, police said.

Jaclyn Misuraca, 42, was charged with three counts of first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

All three are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Thursday.
