5 Library Events Happening This Week

1. Career Counselor: Meet with a professional career counselor for help with resumes and career options at the North Babylon Library on Monday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Call 669-4020 to schedule an appointment. Open to North Babylon residents only.

2. Knitting Club: Novice and advanced knitters are welcome to join this knitting club, led by Roberta. The group meets Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the North Babylon Library.

3. Walk-In Crafts: Make a craft on Wednesday at the Deer Park Library anytime from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

4. Cooking Class: Chef Charlie will demonstrate picnic recipes at the Deer Park Library on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Ope to Deer Park residents only.

5. Drop-In Play Date: Kids ages pre-school to 5 years are invited to play at the North Babylon Library on Friday from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

Both libraries will be closed on Thursday in observance of the Fourth of July.
