All Hallow's Eve Celebration at Saints Cyril and Methodius

SSCM Students, Teachers and Staff don their scariest and goofiest Halloween gear for a rocking celebration before All Saints Day.

Students, staff, and teachers at Saints Cyril and Methodius School in Deer Park, donned capes and masks and hats and celebrated the beautiful fall day with an outdoor Halloween parade. In the morning, there was much talk of the origins of Halloween and SSCM’s own Father Grace spent some time with classes talking about the meaning behind All Saints Day and All Hallow’s Eve. Then it was time for everyone, including Principal, Sister Susan (in witch’s gear) to head outdoors for some parade fun, followed by an excellent Halloween party, complete with DJ, dancing, treats and prizes!

Many thanks to all of the parents, faculty and staff who made this fun and memorable day possible. The students had a blast!
