Dog Obedience/Spring Session

Babylon Town's Spring Dog Obedience classes will begin May 8 atΒ Fabio Buttitta Park,Β Acorn Street in Deer Park.Β

The Town, in conjunction with Kathy Adams, Certified Professional Dog Trainer of ResQ Dog Training Inc., offers lessons in dog obedience to both residents and non-residents. This program is designed to teach owners effective and humane ways to teach a dog to become a canine good citizen. All training is done outside, on leash. The eight one-hour sessions takes into account the possibility of class cancellation due to inclement weather.Β

The class focuses on basic commands (sit/stay, down/stay, leave it, heel, etc.) while addressing typical problems such as housebreaking, chewing, puppy nipping, barking and jumping.

Fee: $80 for Town Residents
$90 for Non-Residents.Β
Proof of residency needed at registration.
