1. Knitting Club: Novice and advanced knitters are welcome to join this knitting club, led by Roberta. The group meets Monday at 10 a.m. at the North Babylon Library. 2. Under The Sea Party: Kids in grades K through 5 are invited to the North Babylon Library Tuesday at 4 p.m. to explore incredible ocean animals,  meet local live crabs and touch real whale teeth, shark jaws and giant walrus tusks and design an ocean waterglobe to take home. 3. Pet Rock Painting: Design and paint your own pet rock at the Deer Park Library Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. 4. Cooking With Charlie: Also on Wednesday at Deer Park, learn to cook with herbs from a professional chef. The class starts at 6:30 p.m. 5. Splish Splash Trip: The North Babylon Library has a limited supply of discount tickets available for Friday, August 9. Tickets are $28 a person (adult or child). Children 2 years of age and under are free. Patrons provide their own transportation. Tickets are non-refundable.
