Beer Fit Club Returns To Farmingdale This Weekend

Farmingdale, NY — Beer Fit Club bills itself as a "fitness entertainment company" and their unique blend of beer and workout classes will return to Farmingdale this Sunday at Lithology Brewery Co. The company, founded and run by three women from Long Island, partners with local businesses to offer yoga, bootcamp and other fitness classes at Long Island breweries. On Sunday, January 12th, Beer Fit Club will host a "2020 Goal Planning Beer and Yoga" event from 10:45 a.m.until 12 p.m at the brewery, 211A Main Street.

Tickets can be purchased online for $30 and include a pint of beer with the yoga class. Attendees can be beginners or experienced at yoga and should bring their own mat. Monica Sacco, of North Babylon, is the lead instructor and business relations manager for Beer Fit Club and will be teaching Sunday's class. She explained the appeal of the beer plus fitness trend to Patch.

"People are looking for something outside of their routine to do that doesn't have to be serious, but can be pure fun. We have couples, families and those who have never even tried yoga but who come to our events to laugh and connect with loved ones, and of course to try local craft beer."
