Boy Scout Troop 399 Participated in Scout Sunday
Boy Scout Troop 399 participated in Scout Sunday: A Scout is Reverent

On Sunday, February 8, North Babylonβs Troop 399βs leaders, boy scouts and their families participated in a special service to celebrate Scout Sunday at St. Paulβs Reformed Church in North Babylon.Β Members of North Babylon Lions Club, the troopβs chartered organization, were also in attendance as well as cub scouts and girl scouts.
This yearβs Scout Sunday was extra special because it was held on February 8th, the Boy Scouts of Americaβs birthday.Β On Scout Sunday, uniformed Scouts and Scouters across the country greeted the congregation, participated in worship services, received religious awards and conducted service projects to benefit their place of worship.
St. Paulβs Reformed Church has been a great supporter of North Babylonβs Troop 399 and we were honored to celebrate with their congregation.Β Pastor Conrad Strauch gave a moving and touching sermon.Β He also presented the Parvuli Dei religious award to a deserving young man, Troop 399βs newest Boy Scout James White.Β Following the services, the parishioners hosted a breakfast with an array of scrumptious food.
