Bulldogs Take a Bite Out of Eagles in Homecoming Win
North Babylon beat the Copiague Eagles during this year's Homecoming game 39-8.
The North Babylon Bulldogs beat theΒ Copiague EaglesΒ 39-8 and improved to a 2-1 record in their division after the Homecoming game on Saturday. According to a statement released by the school,Β Jahjuan Winters and Brandon Sobotker stood out when they scored two touchdowns each and both rushed for more than 100 yards.
Homecoming kicked off with Spirit Week leading up to game day.
"Students and staff showcased their creativity during Nationality Day, Twin Day and Superhero Day before wearing their blue and white to cheer on the fall sports teams at the Friday afternoon pep rally," the district said in its statement.

Suffolk Legis. Lou DβAmaro, D-North Babylon, joined inΒ the annual North Babylon High School Homecoming Parade on Saturday along with the Board of Education, administrators, students, teachers and members of the community showing their hometown spirit.
βAs a North Babylon resident, I was again proud to march along with my neighbors in the annual Homecoming parade,β said Legis. DβAmaro. βIt was wonderful to witness and experience the spirit and enthusiasm from all who came out to support North Babylon High School."
