Can You Escape Arkham’s Darkness at NYZ Apocalypse?

August 12, 2016; Deer Park, NY – For one night only, those brave enough will have the chance to enter the infamous Arkham Asylum in a live action, interactive, fully immersive experience ripped from the comic book pages, which will bring them face-to-face with the deranged and infamous inmates of the prison’s psychiatric ward as they try to rescue a hostage.

Housed within the terrifying labyrinth of NYZ Apocalypse, New York’s only live-action, interactive zombie experience located at 450 Commack Road, Deer Park, NY, “Escape The Dark: Arkham” is an immersive, one-night only escape-house experience the night of August 21, 2016. Entrance times start at 7 p.m. and go until 10 p.m.

“Escape The Dark: Arkham” simulates a jailbreak of the infamous psychotic inmates who call the asylum home. Participants will join a team of detectives locked inside Arkham Asylum and use a single flashlight to find their way out of a pitch-black building while fending off lunatic prisoners and iconic crime lords. The goal is to locate and extract the police commissioner’s daughter whose disappearance has shaken the city’s psyche.

Presented by NYZ Apocalypse and New York art collective Fringe Immersive, “Escape The Dark:Arkham” is a frightening, intense experience designed for all ages, but it is recommended that guests be 12 years of age or older.
