Coastal Flood Advisories Issued For Suffolk County
Minor flooding during high tide Thursday is possible, the National Weather Service says.

The National Weather Weather Service has issued coastal flood advisories for parts of Suffolk County. In southwestern Suffolk, an advisory will be in effect from 8 p.m. to midnight Thursday. In northwestern Suffolk, an advisory will be in effect from 10 p.m. Thursday until 1 a.m. Friday.
High tides more than a foot above normal may lead to minor coastal flooding of the most vulnerable shore roads and basements.
A few road closures may be needed, but there's a low threat of any property damage, the NWS says.
