In preparing for competitions, Emily is at the dance studio as many as seven days each week. She also attends numerous dance classes each week and also serves as a helper for the younger students in dance classes.
This is the second time Emily has won a title award at a competition. Last season, she was victorious at Power of Dance, a competition that instead of trophies, awards monetary grants to charities of the dancerβs choice. Β Emilyβs win at Power of Dance raised money for the Suffolk County Chapter of the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
