A student at Deer Park High School is heading to Albany to represent Suffolk County in a conference aimed at increasing students' awareness of government participation. Alicia Legland will attend Students Inside Albany, a three-day conference sponsored by the League of Women Voters of New York State Education Foundation Inc. The League is also sponsoring Legland's trip. Legland said she looks forward to exploring the political and legal aspects of environmental issues at the conference.
