Deer Park LIRR Riders To See Schedule Enhancements
MTA using state funding to add trains on the Ronkonkoma branch.

Commuters that frequent the Deer Park Long Island Rail Road station will soon have more service from which to choose.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Monday announced that the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) would make use of state funding to provide new service improvements and customer enhancements for the nationβs largest transportation system.
Among the improvements will be several schedule enhancements to the LIRRβs Ronkonkoma branch, which includes Deer Park.

β’ Service every half-hour on weekends will be established in both directions to Ronkonkoma.
β’ A new 4:09 p.m. weekday train will run from Penn Station to Ronkonkoma.
