A Deer Park man was arrested last week following the shooting of a man in Hempstead, according to Nassau County Police. Brian Tonery, 22, is charged with first degree attempted robbery and second degree attempted robbery stemming from an incident at 7:27 p.m. on July 22, police said. Get more info here.

Got pothole problems? Denise Baum wrote on the Boards complaining of a pothole on Deer Park Avenue and weeks Road. Despite multiple calls, the hole has not ye been fixed.
