Deer Park Medical Office Employee Facing Weapons Charge
Police say Wesley Harris, who worked at an alleged distribution center for painkiller prescriptions, will be in a Riverhead Courtroom on Thursday.

An employee of a Deer Park medical office that is suspected of being an alleged distribution center for painkiller prescriptions, is scheduled to be arraigned on Oct. 25 in a Riverhead courtroom.
Wesley Harris, 37, a prior violent felony offender who told police he was employed as a βmedical assistantβ in the office located at 207 Bay Shore Road, will go before Judge James Hudson facing a weapons charge.
According to the D.A., during the execution of a search warrant back in June at the medical office, Harris was allegedly found to be in possession of a loaded .38 Titan Tiger Revolver.

βMr. Harris cannot possess a firearm in light of his conviction in 2007 for sexual abuse in the first degree, and we subsequently charged him with criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree,β District Attorney Thomas Spota said.
Harris remains behind bars in the Suffolk County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or bond.

The raid on June 6 was executed in the location operated by Ingrid Gordon-Patterson of Patchogue, the district attorneyβs office said. On June 12, Gordon-Patterson was arrested and charged with one count of criminal sale of a prescription.
βThis specific charge alleged the defendant sold 30 Oxycodone tablets for $250 cash,β Spota said.Β βThe evidence gathered during our investigation was presented to a grand jury and she will be arraigned on an indictment on October 23.βΒ
Gordon-Patterson, who pleaded not guilty to the criminal sale of a prescription charge, is free on $50,000 bond.
