In November, officers responded to the back lot of the former Ruby Tuesday at 403 Commack Rd. after a report of an injured person. When officers arrived, they found the man, identified as 60-year-old Vincent Kelleher, lying dead on the ground.

8. Winning $30K Lottery Ticket Sold At Deer Park Supermarket
A winning TAKE-5 lottery ticket was sold at a Deer Park supermarket in November.
In September, 46-year-old Lenwood Williams, of Deer Park, stabbed a 37-year-old West Islip man outside the Deer Park Deli on 183 Bay Shore Road after an altercation.
