Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued for Suffolk County

The National Weather Service has issued the follow hazardous weather outlook for Suffolk County:
NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP LATE THIS MORNING AND AFTERNOON. STRONGER CELLS COULD PRODUCE STRONG WIND GUSTS.

- Today- Scattered showers before noon, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between noon and 4pm, then scattered showers and thunderstorms after 4pm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 80. West wind 7 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
- Tonight- A chance of showers, mainly before 8pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 57. West wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
- Monday- Sunny, with a high near 77. West wind 14 to 17 mph.
- Monday Night- Clear, with a low around 57. Northwest wind 5 to 8 mph.
- Tuesday- Sunny, with a high near 82. West wind 7 to 11 mph.
