Highest Snow Totals Reported In Deer Park
The community received more snow than any other on the island during the recent snow fall.
DEER PARK, NY β Long Island saw even more snow on Thursday β with Deer Park getting the most amount of the white stuff in the area.
The community received a total of 6 inches of snow, according to unofficial data from the National Weather Service.
The next highest snow total in Suffolk was reported in Sag Harbor, which received 5.8 inches. In Nassau, Elmont also received 5.8 inches of snow, the highest in the county.

However, this is nothing compared to nearly one-foot of snow that walloped the area during a nor-easter two weeks ago.
This may not be the end of the snow, with more expected to come Friday night. A winter weather advisory remains in effect until 7 p.m.
