Staff members and students at Deer Park’s John F. Kennedy Intermediate School
recently wore blue for autism awareness in Deer Park. Staff members also raised $500 to
benefit Camp ANCHOR, the Town of Hempstead’s six-week summer day camp program for
children and adults with special needs. Combined with generous donations from several
JFK alumni, the Deer Park funds will support Camp Anchor’s events and campers with
different abilities.
