NORTH BABYLON, NY β€” North Babylon teen Emily Meyer is well-known around town for her popular toy drive she hosts every year, but now she is looking to team up with another local group for a new charitable venture.

Meyer, who recently started her own organization, the Emily Meyer Foundation, partnered with the Lions Club of North Babylon to help collect books for those in need.

Together, they will be working with Congressman Andrew Garbarino, Assemblyman Jarett Gandolfo, and Assemblyman Mike Durso to help support Read Across America by collecting gently used books to donate to The Book Fairies, a non-profit organization based in Freeport.
