Long Awaited Island Empanada Now Open In Deer Park
The fourth location for the popular franchise officially opened this week. Have you tried the new eatery yet?
DEER PARK, NY β The long awaited Island Empanada in Deer Park is finally open to customers. The new eatery, located on 1912B Deer Park Avenue, officially opened on Monday much to the excitement of the local community.
This is the fourth location for the popular franchise, which has been co-branded along with Toxic Wings. A fifth location in Huntington Station will be opening later this month. Rocky Point opened just last October, joining the other two locations in Medford and Ronkonkoma.
The franchise is quickly expanding with two more Island Empanadas in the works in Shirley and Merrick, marking the first Nassau County location for the eatery, Newsday reports.

The menu offers traditional empanadas such as beef and chicken along with some that have a modern twist including philly cheesesteak and chicken bacon ranch.
The restaurant will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
