Man Shot While Sitting In Parked Car In Wyandanch

WYANDANCH, NY — A man was injured in a shooting in Wyandanch on Wednesday night, according to Suffolk police.

The 26-year-old man was sitting in a parked car on Winter Avenue, near Nicolls Road when he was struck by a bullet fired from outside the car at 10:30 p.m.

The man was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
