North Babylon High School junior Liam Gargiulo took part in the Ithaca College Summer Music Academy this past July and was able to enjoy the experience of being a music major, including living in a dorm room, according to a statement released by the school. Gargiulo majored in trombone during his time among 380 other students who came from 18 states and six foreign countries to participate in the program.  According to the school, Gargiulo said that it was his greatest musical experience. He is very grateful to band director Frank Rizzo for his recommendation to this program.
