N. Babylon Student Gets National Hispanic Recognition Award

Kevin Leonardo's academic achievements qualified him to be one of 5,300 students nationwide to become a National Hispanic Recognition Program Scholar.

North Babylon High School Senior Kevin Leonardo was selected as a 2013-2014 National Hispanic Recognition Program Scholar, due to his high academic achievements, according to an announcement released by the school.

TheΒ National Hispanic Recognition ProgramΒ recognized 5,300 students selected from more than 259,000 who took the 2012 PSAT this year.Β The program started in 1983 to identify outstanding Hispanic/Latino high school students.Β
