New Italian Supermarket Looking To Open In December
Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace, which is taking over the former King Kullen in North Babylon, is aiming to open by the end of the year.

NORTH BABYLON, NY β The new Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace coming to North Babylon is expected to open by the end of the year. The Italian grocery store, which will be taking over the former King Kullen at the Sunset Plaza on 112 Deer Park Avenue, is planning to open in December.
This will be the ninth location for the Long Island-based chain with stores in East Meadow, Smithtown, Port Washington, Port Jefferson Station, Massapequa, Melville, North Babylon, and Yorktown Heights as well as one in Ramsey, New Jersey.
The supermarket will include a full-service deli, specialty butcher, scratch-made bakery, as well as a viewing room where pasta and mozzarella are made fresh daily. In addition, the store will include a full grocery, dairy, and frozen food section. Uncle Giuseppeβs will also offer home delivery and curbside pickup.

"We look forward to sharing our family recipes with you and giving you the experience you deserve," Carl DelPrete, co-founder and CEO of Uncle Giuseppeβs Marketplace said. "You can look forward to sampling our food and listening to live singers on the weekends as you shop."
The supermarket chain will be joining Buffalo Wild Wings, Game Stop, LA Fitness, Starbucks, Petsmart and more at the Sunset Plaza.
