New Mac And Cheese Restaurant Opening In North Babylon
The new business is set to open next year.

NORTH BABYLON, NY - Cheese lovers rejoice! A new mac and cheese eatery is set to open in North Babylon next year. I Heart Mac & Cheese will be opening its third Long Island location in the area by September 2020. The franchise also has restaurants in Patchogue and Hauppauge.
The fast-casual restaurant specializes in made-to-order macaroni and cheese bowls with a variety of bases including quinoa, broccoli, cauliflower and gluten free pasta. Customers can also build their own grilled cheese sandwiches and salads.
"I Heart Mac & Cheese is a fun, attractive concept and an affordable franchise model that is easy to operate, with support systems in place to help our partners be successful," Stephen Giordanella, I Heart Mac & Cheese chief executive officer and chairman said. "We are thrilled to bring our popular concept into North Babylon to expand our presence throughout the state of New York."

A franchise agreement was signed with husband and wife Orison and Casandra Wiggins on Tuesday. The Wiggins will manage operations for the brandβs newest location. Orison is a technology entrepreneur and Cassandra is a teacher who works directly with ENL students.
"My wife and I are excited to join the I Heart Mac & Cheese brand and continue spreading the word about this incredible restaurant throughout Long Island and beyond," Orison said. "We have two young sons β ages 3 and 7 β and mac and cheese has been a staple in our household."
