NORTH BABYLON, NY β A North Babylon elementary school will be closed down on Wednesday after a small fire broke out in the boiler room.
According to an announcement on the school website, Marion G. Vedder Elementary School will be on full-remote teaching for the day.
School officials say there were no injuries in the fire and minimal damage.
