North Babylon Marching Band performs in Memorial Day Parade.

On May 31, the North Babylon High School Marching Band participated in the annual North Babylon Memorial Day Parade. Students in grades nine through twelve performed a version of John Philip Sousa’s β€œThe Stars and Stripes Forever” to honor our fallen service men and women.

The parade concluded with a ceremony at Phelps Park where senior Jacob Gerdes performed β€œTaps” and junior Kennedy Royal performed β€œThe Star-Spangled Banner.” The North Babylon Marching Band used their performance as a salute to the nation’s current military members and to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
