North Babylon Student-Athletes Sign To Colleges

Two student-athletes from North Babylon High School recently committed to continuing their sports at the college level. Congratulations to Jayshon Hines who will be wrestling at Northwest Kansas Tech and Colin Rhein who signed with Stony Brook University to play baseball.
Hines is a four-year varsity wrestler who has been named All-League three times, All-County two times and All-State. Last season, Hines qualified for the New York State championship, where he finished in third place. At a national tournament in Myrtle Beach, Hines became an All-American. While wrestling at Northwest Kansas Tech, Hines plans on studying to be an electrician.

This season, Rhein was named an All-League and All-County baseball player. He was also selected as one of Newsdayβs Top 100 Baseball Players and an Axcess Baseball Preseason Player to Watch.
