Students at Marion G. Vedder Elementary School and standout musicians at North Babylon High School honored local heroes during a patriotic Veterans Day ceremony. Veterans from across the North Babylon community attended the program, which featured a variety of musical performances. A rendition of "God Bless America" was performed by the elementary students under the direction of music teacher Ms. Dellosso, while high school All-State vocalist and drum major Nicole Gonzalez sang the "Star Spangled Banner" and trumpet officer Kris Krupski played taps for the troops under the direction of Frank Rizzo.
