Obituary: Bruno Izzo, of North Babylon, Dies At 73

Died: February 21, 2019

Visitation: Saturday, Feb. 23 and Sunday, Feb. 24 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Home on 1225 Montauk Highway in West Islip.

Service: Monday, Feb. 25 starting at 11:15 a.m. at the St. Joseph's R.C. Church on 39 North Carll Avenue in Babylon.

Obituary: Bruno Izzo, of North Babylon, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 21. He was 73.

Izzo was a proud U.S. Navy veteran who served on the U.S.S. Independence and was a longtime teacher at Massapequa High School.

He is survived by his wife, Florence T. Frazer as well as his children, Lt. John Izzo, USN and Emily Izzo. He is also survived by his sister Ann Comstock.

Interment will take place at the Trinity Cemetery in Amityville.
