It was all aboard the Polar Express as the fabled train departed Deer Park High School on Dec. 11, loaded with close to 100 pajama-clad Santa Claus believers.
Freshmen and seniors at the school worked together to create a winter wonderland of games, treats and letters to Kris Kringle that helped to benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Cocoa flowed like water and there was even an appearance by Santa himself, as well as arts and crafts and a viewing of the film βThe Polar Express.β
βOur thanks to all of the students, parents and community members that participated,β said teacher Beth Kabaservice.
