Police ID Man Found Dead Behind Deer Park Restaurant

The 60-year-old was found dead last month. Police released additional information regarding his death Tuesday.

DEER PARK, NY β€” Suffolk police have identified and released additional information on Tuesday regarding the man who was found dead behind a Deer Park restaurant last month.

On Nov. 16, officers responded to the back lot of the former Ruby Tuesday at 403 Commack Rd. after a report of an injured person. When officers arrived, they found the man, identified as 60-year-old Vincent Kelleher, lying dead on the ground, police said.

Kelleher was homeless, police said. An autopsy found that he died of blunt force trauma and police believe he was killed.

No arrests have been made, but police are asking for help for information regarding the killing.
