DEER PARK, NY — After nearly two years in the making, the new Popeye's restaurant recently opened in Deer Park.

In 2018, the fast food chain announced it was opening several new locations on Long Island, including one on 1670 Deer Park Avenue. This month, the Deer Park location officially opened to customers.

In addition, the chain stated it was opening locations in Riverhead and Brentwood.

The franchise currently has a total of 13 eateries on Long Island in North Baldwin, Hempstead, Westbury, Lindenhurst (2), Valley Stream (2), Elmont, Lawrence, Huntington, Bay Shore, Patchogue and Shirley.
